Benny Morris used to be reasonably evenhanded by Israeli standards, but fuck me, he's a nutter now.I feel a terrible sense of foreboding. If Morris is this insane, Israel is well over the edge. Many Iranians are going to die of this insanity, and possibly many Israelis too.
Morris has been on the slide since he came out in the open with his transferism. After years of documenting, reasonably objectively, the bad Israel had done, the horror of its birth, he came out in favour of it, and I quote:
There are circumstances in history that justify ethnic cleansing.

A fucking Jew wrote that! You can scarcely credit it. He talks about the Israeli Arabs as being a "fifth column", who it might be necessary to "expel".

What sick fucking world is this, when the conscience of the Jewish people--a man renowned for being unafraid to examine the dark side of Israel's history--writes propaganda that even many Likudistas would think twice about writing.
But he's gone even further now. He's talking about nuking Iran. And what's scary is that this is someone who thinks he's "left wing". God help us.
Let's be clear. If the choice is a nuclear attack on Iran or leaving, you leave. You abandon Israel and you come to us. (I know how bad that is, this is how deep a moral crisis this presents.) You are not worth more than them. What the fuck makes you think you are? Are you really that insane? Thinking another people is less human than you are--where does that lead? Benny, where does that lead? Have you forgotten where it leads?

You don't have much understanding of what being the "chosen people" means to Jews, do you? It isn't an expression of superiority.
I don't think it's any secret that anti-Arab racism is prevalent in Israel (and anti-Semitism in Arab areas) but what Morris is writing is not just anti-Arab: it's shockingly close to the eliminationist rhetoric of the Nazis. There's a huge gap between "I don't like curryeaters living next to me" and "kill all the curryeating wogs".
The true and intellectual meaning of "Chosen race" is not what i am talking about, what i'm talking about the the bullshit that Jews spout to those that know fuck all and use to justify their actions in other words the majority of the ordinary population of Israel and Jews around the world. they use chosen and then god to defend their atrocity's. Most Israelis do actually lean towards "kill all the curryeating wogs".
No, I think it's the true and intellectual meaning that you don't understand. And most Israelis, I think you'll find, tend to the secular, and find enough excuse in that to kill.
No they don't use it as an excuse they use it as a justification and they use it when it suites them. Secular or not they will always quote their Torah and other religious babbling to excuse their actions.
