Rule of law

This is disgusting. There is nothing to say about it but that America simply does not have the rule of law any more.

No one can hold the government of the United States to account. When the executive treats the judiciary, and the people, with such open contempt, there is no law.

It is no use calling for impeachment. The Democrats do not care about the rule of law; they do not care about accountability, because they do not wish it for themselves.

One can only hope that the appeals court has the balls to impose a heavier sentence, and make Bush commute it again. But not much hope. Balls are in short supply in the States at the moment, and Bush has the monopoly.

Now that you've finally opened your eyes to that aspect of the US, please do continue to tell me how wealthy we all are here.

Natural law, you can count on.

Cronyism of this audacity is something Saddam could have got right behind. You have to admire the sheer nerve of Bush using the suffering of his wife and child as an excuse. I can see that becoming a popular plea.
