Whom are you?
The proofreader continues to excel himself. Faced with:"... to obtain cash from the financial institution with which it has deposited the cash"
he suggested "whom" for "which".
OMG.
The proofreader has become confused because "whose" is dual use. One says "The bank whose employees were sad" and "the man whose employees were sad". But one does not say *"the bank whom I work for", for the obvious reason that banks, although of course warm and cuddly, are not people.
Funnily enough, I corrected this when I edited it because the original had "whom". The text is recycled, so I wonder whether this guy was involved in working on it before.
