The disllusionment starts here but you know, good fucking riddance, bitches:

At one point Clinton gave Bush a hug and patted him on the back. I could almost hear him thinking, "well you lived through it but you got your nose bloodied too didn't you you fucking smartass".

I was hallucinating the communication, no doubt.

Disillusionment... people have placed a lot of hope in the man. They placed a lot of hope in JFK. I have a lot of hope that their hope won't be indicative.

I think the man recognizes the enormity of the task ahead. Whether he can encourage his fellows to step along the forward path, or whether they hold him down and bugger him into submission to the status-quo of descent, there's the question.
