wise

so anyway, good fucking riddance, Wisey.

"turned things round"? you could equally say "took us down like a stone in a pond, and lumbered us with a team overstuffed with players who will turn out only to be competitive in League One and fucked off because he wasn't up to the job."

yeah, we'd be winning the league if we had our 15 points back, but we haven't looked a class above, and Wise leaves during a bad run. he's done okay, but a few more bad results and we're in the playoff scrap. it should go without saying that another year in League One is a disaster for Leeds.

and he's Chelsea scum. let's not forget that. okay, Bates' fine grasp of dodgy business practice has put us in a lot better shape than we were in a couple of years ago, but that doesn't mean we want to have his babies, the horrible Blue fucktard.

now, i believe that man Jose Mourinho is out of a job...

Jose! LOFL... Speaking of Chelsea :-) Although they fucked him off, so, instant cred.

Now we have Wisey. What the fuck are we gonna do with him. Word is Keegan's panties are in a bunch over his appointment. Wonder if that's true. Can't get Shearer on board, and we need someone to work with our strikers. (I think we're on some 10 scoreless hours or somesuch, of course, without Martins too... Big Sam was an idiot not to start him first, even if he is young and a little uneven.)

Never mind the defense. Can we just score some fucking goals??????

1. Hiring more management at a football club is a recipe for disaster, particularly when you don't clearly define roles. See Spurs. One theory is that it puts a layer of responsibility between manager and chairman, so that when people are trying to blame Ashley for how bad things are, he can say "don't blame me, Wisey's running the show".
2. You don't want Shearer, dude. He's divisive and has zero coaching experience. And you are forgetting that Keegan himself was a fairly decent striker.
3. You should always start with the defence, and yours sucks. Woodgate might be a good signing. The Scottish fella, meh. You do not really need new strikers. You need a creator in midfield and maybe a bit more pace in the team. Pity that Emre didn't work out.

1. I wondered. This is looking like a bit... dodgy? I had hoped Ashley would flash his wallet and bring in a manager with a full trophy case and big balls. Not seeing it.
2. True, but he's getting his badges at whatever the hell coaching school they have there :-)
3. Our defense well and truly sucks. Taylor's the only real bright point. His problem is his aggression sometimes gets the better of him. Hell, that was how we ended up with Big Sam, the big center back. He was supposed to build a wall in the back. He might still have been able to do it, but he had no support at the top. Well, that and he plays ugly ball. Woodgate's going to Spurs, but I kinda wonder if we just left the physio table open more than missed a chance at a good defender. Too bad we couldn't get a shot at Wes Brown. Wishful thinking. Still, aside from the Arsenal games, 5 more goals in the 10 games previous could have seen us 11 pts. further up the table.

N'Zogbia is a bright spot in our midfield, young, creative, quick. Milner is still a good egg. Emre has his moments, but he's Jekyll and Hyde.

I think we have some of the right tools, but then we have some *tools.* I think Viduka, Barton and Smith were all money thrown out. I still think Martins and Owen up front could work, although neither of them is that big target man.

If Ashley and Keegan *really* want to compete with the top four, they better start spending the money and convincing some of the talent out there that they're serious.

I see a lot more mid-table wallowing to come, myself...

Of course, I've confused you with Spurs. Easy mistake to make. You're both shit.

The big problme with Shearer is that he is divisive. He is not someone a manager wants around because he creates cliques, and whispers about the manager.

You should have stuck with Big Sam. He wasn't given much time. Fans who insist on "good football" cannot complain at lack of success. Anyway, the English league is very tough, and it's not getting easier, so expectations may be too high. Newcastle have not often been particularly successful as it is.

Barton is overrated. You'll sell Owen as quickly as you can, to anyone stupid enough to cough up a decent price. Viduka is on the downgrade. You don't want Wes Brown, trust me.

You are very unlikely to compete with the top four any time soon. I mean, you're fucking Newcastle, man. That's practically Scotland. Why would a player who could go to Milan or Barcelona choose that frozen shithole?

LOL, too funny. Well, at least my other favorite is looking like making it automatic. Darlo is going strong, and with a few good results might be able to take tops from Franchise FC... A little sunshine anyway :-)
