climate

so anyway, because i hate to have to pity people who are at least passably intelligent and should know better, i am going to give relief to Don.

Don, here is a link to a good jumping-off point for you to inform yourself about global warming. if after using this resource, you prefer to remain clueless, that is your problem. do not plague me with it because i really don't have much tolerance for people who actively prefer lies to the truth.

more particularly, for easy reference, this should answer your questions. try to have an open mind. you are plain wrong on this subject, truly. practically no one involved on the science side has anything to gain from this, not even jobs or research money, whatever your views on President Gore.

that is all.

Give it up its too late, nothing will be done on a global scale until its too late and then well it will be too late. There is only one real solution to the problem and that a massive reduction in the worlds population, its natures way and its been the plan of the worlds richest and most influential for decades (illuminati, bilderbergs), it part of their grand plan, reduce the population to between 1-0.5 billion, and exert total control on the masses. Just like in various science fiction novels/films. Dig around on the luny sites its all there. Those sites are just as credible as many peoples notion that we can/will slow/stop global warming.

For everyone out there who's not completely insane yet, here is a brief and compelling explanation of how it works and what can be done.

No nothing can\will be done because no matter what rich developed counties could do (but on the whole don't)to reduce C02 emissions the developing world will not, for example if the UK stopped C02 emissions dead today, China would make up that reduction within 12 months.

Some interesting reading, no doubt. I guess I am reflexively skeptical when there's a bandwagon to jump on. A search yields plenty of skepticism out there. That one link answers them pretty well.

So, I guess to the question:

you are standing in the middle of the road and a truck is coming. you need to get out of the way. you are fucked if you don't. you have the sense to step aside, right?

Since stepping aside has the potential to throw me off the bridge, I would want to know that there really is a truck coming.
