Nobel thought

Photo from the Burma Digest.

The Nobels are announced later this week. I think a repeat is in order.

"It is man's vision of a world fit for rational, civilized humanity which leads him to dare and to suffer to build societies free from want and fear. Concepts such as truth, justice and compassion cannot be dismissed as trite when these are often the only bulwarks which stand against ruthless power." -- Daw Aung San Suu Kyi.

I am *mumblety mumble* today. My birthday wish is that we never stop believing in that vision.

Cheers on your mumblieth. Smoke a bowl for truth, justice and compassion. I think if everyone did that, it might actually happen.
